CLEVELAND, Ohio – The first OHSAA girls wrestling state tournament concludes on Sunday with the championship round, and three wrestlers from Northeast Ohio will be going for state titles.
At 125 pounds, Brecksville-Broadview Heights’ Anna Madi (27-2) will face Raegan Briggs of Harrison (34-2) in a matchup of regional champions. At 135, Akron Manchester’s Jaydyn McKinney (18-0) faces Avon Lake’s Rejan Alhashash (39-4) in the final. It’s a rematch of the Mentor Regional final, won by McKinney.
